Emergency and Pain Relief Dentistry

We provide emergency appointments and pain relief dentistry.

We endeavour to accommodate patients in pain as early as possible and we will provide appropriate pain relief.

Teeth Whitening

We offer tooth whitening in the convenience of your own home.  Brightening your smile is a simple procedure where Whitening Gel is placed into a custom tray and worn for a short period of time.  Correct care and maintenance will help to maintain your new sparkling smile.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is a dental procedure that replaces a tooth's damaged or infected pulp with a filling. Damage to the pulp may be caused by untreated dental decay, tooth damage due to trauma, decay beneath a filling, gum disease  or tooth grinding (bruxism) . This procedure is also known as endodontic treatment.

Tooth Extractions

Simple tooth extractions and some surgical extractions can be performed in a chair-side visit, however sometimes a tooth will require a specialist to remove it. If your tooth requires a specialist removal we will refer you onto the appropriate clinic.

Dentures

Dentures are a simple and affordable way to replace missing teeth. A tooth shade is chosen to match to your own natural tooth colour if you have a partial denture. For a complete denture (where all upper or lower teeth are missing) you can create your own smile.

Invisalign/Orthodontics

If you are concerned about overlapping, crooked teeth or an uneven smile Invisalign may be an option for you. We can discuss the best option for you.

Crowns

Crowns are porcelain or gold caps that are placed over your tooth to maintain the integrity of your tooth. The tooth may have a crown placed if it has a large filling or has had Root Canal Therapy. Inlays and onlays can be made from porcelain or gold material but are only placed on a section of the tooth. Crowns, inlays and onlays help to strengthen your own tooth and improve chewing mobility. They are longer lasting than regular fillings.

Bridges

A Bridge is made from porcelain or porcelain with metallic alloy for strength and is an option for replacing a missing tooth.  Teeth on either side of the gap are prepared, and have crowns placed on each of them with a tooth/teeth fixed between them to fill the gap.

Veneers

Veneers are porcelain or resin covers used to cosmetically enhance your teeth and smile. Your choice of shade is taken and teeth are prepared to have the veneers placed over the front of the tooth.

Crowns, Bridges and Veneers are completed in 2 to 3 appointments.
