Why do I need 6 month Check up’s?

Having a dental check up regularly is an important aspect of maintaining good oral health. Check ups allow us to detect abnormalities early and we can then treat before it becomes a large problem.

 

What measures can I take to prevent sensitive teeth?

A consultation with your dentist is the best option as a wide range of things can cause sensitivity, and a dentist will be able to determine what is causing your teeth to become sensitive.

 

Do we do payment plans?

Yes. We are now working with Denticare to make dental work affordable for all patients. If you are interested in a payment plan, please visit www.denti-care.com.au or call 1300 633 472 alternatively you are welcome to contact our surgery and we will be only to happy to talk you through the process. 

 

Do we bulk-bill?

No, we do not bulk-bill, however you are welcome to discuss about your private health fund and payment options.

 

Do we accept Child Dental Benefit patients?

Yes we do. Please contact either one of our dental practices to make an appointment. 

 

Do we accept health funds?

We accept all health funds with on the spot claims through our HICAPS machine.

 

Which health funds are we a preferred provider for?

We are members choice providers for HCF, CBHS, Smile.com.au including Australian Unity, Frank Health Insurance, GMHBA Health Insurance, Peoplecare, Defence Health, Budget Direct, Health.com.au, NIB First Choice including Qantas Insurance, Suncorp Health Insurance, APIA Health Insurance, AAMI Health Insurance, TAL Health Insurance.

 

Do we accept SMILE?

Yes, we accept all SMILE patients. We will just need proof of membership, which will just be your card or a copy of your membership number. 

 

Do I need to book?

We do require patients to book an appointment, however if you do walk in as an emergency we will try our best to fit you in.

 

Do we extract wisdom teeth?

We do extract wisdom teeth, however consultation regarding the patients' specific needs is required when deciding whether we perform the extraction in our surgery, or if we need to refer to a specialist.

 

I’m missing a number of teeth what are my options?

We offer a number of denture services at our practice, including a partial denture or a bridge to replace a few missing teeth through to full dentures to replace all teeth.
